Ordering and Shipping Information
Chocolate or chocolate covered items are never guaranteed not to melt, especially in the summer.
Please keep this in mind before ordering as we cannot do anything about melted or bloomed (white residue formed after melting) chocolate.
To place an order, choose one of the following methods:
- Enter your order directly on the web. We provide a “shopping cart” to allow you to select products as you browse our website. When checking out, we provide a secure SSL session to protect your privacy including credit card information. You can order by phone at 818-505-9499. We currently only deliver within the U.S
- Tofu Shirataki Noodles in 10 packs and 20 packs have the shipping included already in the price which is USPS priority(2-3days generally) except in California, NV, AZ which will probably be fedex ground. If only ordering the 10 or 20 packs of shirataki noodles, during checkout, choose the free shipping option(shipping not free but keeps you from being charged twice during checkout). If ordering other items along with a 10 or 20 pack of shirataki noodles, shipping will be charged but only on the non shirataki noodle items which will be shipped separately from the noodles.
Flat rate of $10.95 for ground orders* outside of California within the 48 Contiguous states. $8.95 flat rate* within California note: If ordering a lot of glass items such as Davinci Syrups which make the order heavy, we may contact for additional shipping charges before we ship.

Fedex home delivery is the residential version of ground. Next day, two day or three day called express super saver) service is available for extra.

We ship most orders within 1 business day Monday-Thurs. If you order after 12 PM pacific time on Thurs. it will not ship until Monday. Orders are shipped by Fed ex in most cases. Fed Ex does not deliver to P.O. boxes so you must list a valid street address with your order. Orders from the East & south east coast take about 5 business days by ground, from the midwest of the country 3-4 days and west coast 1-2 days.
Other shipping methods are available such as Fed Ex Next-Day or Two-Day delivery. You pay shipping costs for these methods which is based on the weight and destination. Simply enter your order online and you will be presented with all shipping options that we can do so you can choose between price and speed of delivery. By indicating a special delivery method, you are giving us authorization to charge you for this service. Please be aware that orders placed after 12:00 noon PST will usually go out the following business day.
We do NOT request or require a signature for Fed Ex deliveries, but we cannot force the driver to leave the package if no one is home. If you live in a relatively low crime area and the risk is small, the driver will usually leave the package at your door or other safe area, but it is solely up to your Fed Ex driver’s discretion whether or not to require a signature. This also applies to any special shipping instructions that you have asked us to include on your shipping label.
Fed Ex home delivery does deliver to residential addresses on Saturday but not Sunday. Do not include these days when estimating your expected delivery date. UPS GROUND only delivers Monday-Friday
Although Monday-Fro if you order before noon PST we will typically ship the same day. There is no guarantee that your order will go out the day you order. If you have specified a One, Two, or Three Day delivery and are placing the order after 12:00 noon PST, it is likely your order will be shipped the following business day.
For destinations within the 48 contiguous Unites States which can be sent by Fed Ex Ground service, there is an $10.95($8.95 within California) shipping charge* (note: If ordering alot of glass items such as Davinci Syrups which make the order heavy, we may contact for additional shipping charges before we ship.If ordering from HI, AK, Puerto Rico or US VI please use the USPS priority flat rate shipping option.

Fed Ex won’t ship to military locations that are APO or FPO, choose the USPS priority flat rate option for this.
We will charge you a $16 fee for shipments that are either re-routed after leaving our warehouse or are incorrectly addressed due to customer’s error. Shipping labels are generated directly from the shipping information you have entered. If you provide us an incorrect zip code or other addressing error e.g. incorrect or missing apartment number, you will be charged the $16 fee since the shipping company will charge us a fee for this correction.
We do not accept returns on melted candy or chocolate. We can never guarantee that these items will not melt or bloom(white residue formed after melting) If ordering products that could melt or spoil, we would recommend ordering during the beginning of the week so that your perishables do not sit in a hot warehouse all weekend. If you order Great Low Carb Bread Company 65 calorie bagels and do not choose the correct shipping method(2-3 days from California), we will not credit or replace your spoiled items.
Currently, only California residents are subject to sales tax collected by Locarbu. Nutritional products are currently non-taxable items, so only items such as books, magazines, videos, soda, supplements will be taxed.
Merchandise damaged during shipping or shortages (missing items) must be reported to Locarbu within 24 hours of receipt. We will contact the shipping company for visual inspection of the merchandise and box. We will then issue you credit for the amount of any confirmed damaged or missing merchandise. If there is an item missing from your order, please make sure that it isn’t coming in a separate package as is the case with tofu shirataki noodles.We do not accept returns on melted candy/chocolate or bread items if you do not choose the expedited shipping. If you think your order is damaged, do not just throw it away, we have to have the package picked up in some cases in order to get credit and reship to you. See summer shipping policy
We do accept return and exchanges under the following conditions. You must contact Lo Carb U Foods for a return authorization number prior to returning any merchandise and only takes a day or two. Merchandise must be returned at your expense in unopened and perfect condition in order to receive credit. We do not accept returns just because you don’t like the taste of the product so do not buy multiples of the product if you haven’t tried it. If you think something is wrong with the product, we’ll gladly exchange it for the same product. No returns on the Shirataki Noodles allowed. If you haven’t tried them before, please only buy a small amount, just in case you don’t like them. We do not allow any nutrition bars to be returned for credit. We sell most bars individually so that they can be tried without buying a full box. A valid return authorization number must be on the shipping label or we will refuse the package. Full credit will be issued for unopened merchandise returned within 10 days of your receipt of shipment. A 25% restocking fee will be applied to returns after 10 days. No product returns will be accepted after 30 days. We do not allows returns on perishable items such as bread, bagels cakes etc. If you want to order a bread or bagel item and you haven’t had them before, only order one just in case you don’t like them.
On the rare occasion that we may ship you an item other than what you ordered, do not open the product or it will void your right to return it. Please contact us so we can exchange it for the correct item.
We regularly stock every item we carry. Although every attempt is made to maintain inventory of each product we carry, occasionally we may run out of certain products. In this case, we will mark the product “out of stock” on our website. If any product is not in stock for an order, we will hold off shipment of your entire order until all products are available. If an item does happen to be out of stock after you’ve ordered it, we will make every attempt to contact you for a an alternate item or to adjust the total.
Any litigation, dispute, or other claim which may arise from the purchase, sale, advice, use or involvement with Locarbu shall be settled in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and particularly the State of California and shall be heard and venued in the County of Los Angeles.
