These are fantastic great substitute for spaghetti.

I am a Type 1 diabetic and must watch my diet very carefully. This has been the only product I have ever tasted that is so similar to pasta without the carbs. I have the unfortunate advantage of knowing exactly how much carbohydrates are in a product (even if does say low carb). For each gram of carbohydrate I eat, I can expect 5mg/dl rise in my bood sugar. I ate a whole package for clams and linguine, and had only a 13mg/dl spike. That tells me the whole package has less then 3 grams of carbs. GREAT TASTING, GOOD CONTROL PRODUCT. Would reccomend to all.
Stacey –
The idea is good – but the texture of these are totally strange. I’m not a fan.
Michelle –
My daughter ordered these because she’s type one diabetic and these were fantistic! I have now ordered a 12 pack of them because I too am diabetic and these will replace spaghetti, rice and potatoes for me. They may have a slightly stiffer texture then traditional noodles but taste the same. They’re much like al dente noodles. These have definately changed my mind about the tast of Tofu.
Linda –
These are SO great. My fiance is Italian, so introducing this product to the household was the big test. He loved them, and the fact that they are so healthy makes it all worth it. I have been telling everyone about these noodles!
Nancy –
I think these Shirataki noodles are TERRIFIC – I really do miss noodles and these just hit the spot – plus I can eat the whole bag and not feel guilty. I prepare as directed, then depending on what my family is eating – I will add some cheese – or a little marinara sauce – or left over beef and gravy. OR even toss in sauteed veggies.
Frances –
I tried these for the first time today. They are much better than just plain Shirataki noodles, more like regular pasta. The texture is somewhat like pasta but more chewy, however, overall, they are fairly good.
Joel –
This is another way of eating healthy and at the same time having the same impact as eating meat. It would be great to have a variety of recipes in fixing it.

Thought I had given up spaghetti and pasta in general for life, but these noodles have given me hope. They have the texture of al dente pasta and my family didn’t know the difference. I think I’m in love!!
DeAnn –
I just got my first order today and these things are AWESOME!!!!! I will definitely be ordering this again. STOCK UP!
Becky –
Holy moly these are good. My husband said he couldn’t tell the difference at all and he’s Italian, but they were a bit “wetter” than normal noodles for me. You can eat a whole bag with a touch of tomato sauce and melted cheese and your satified and full and they’re delicious. I read about them in a magazine and thought it was too good to be true. I ordered to packs to try them and just came back to order a 12 pack, you won’t be sorry.
Kristina –
These were awful. They were flavorless and of a very strange consistency. In my opinion, they are not worth the 20 calores per serving.
James –
Great! We have been low carb for four months and this is the first pasta we’ve had in that time. It was wonderful I expected the worse but it was almost as good as any pasta I ever had.
Carla –
Loved these made an awesome chicken noodle soup thought I was in heaven.Never missed real noodles.
John –
Amazing! Better than ramen noodles with none of the guilt. I made chicken alfredo with them and some walden farms alfredo sauce last night, 4 oz. of chicken breast, fresh broccoli and the noodles. MMMMMMmmmm.
Nancy –
I Thought that I would not be able to have pasta again…..boy, was I wrong. This is the best substitute for “real” pasta that I’ve tried so far. Try it….you can’t go wrong.
Rhonda –
A+++ If it’s possible, these are LIFE CHANGING! They truly make a low carb lifestyle easy. The key to long term success for me is not feeling deprived. There is no deprivation with these – just like pasta – except with these there is no bloated crappy feeling afterwards!
Michael –
Just follow the directions and you are left with some quick and tasty noodle substitutes. Mix it in with some stir fry chicken or anything of your choosing and this makes a fantastic meal. Highly recommended.
Renee –
These were awful….I have adjusted my taste buds once making the decision to follow a low carb lifestyle and I can eat most anything but these are just terrible. The texture feels like a fish, smells like a fish (you can rinse and soak all you want, it is not going away). Purchase the low carb macaroni dried in a box, they are great……no comparison tho these absolutely awful tasting noodles!!!!
Brittany –
I’m baffled by the great reviews for ANY Shirataki noodles. They are like eating a bowl of snot. Seriously. They’re disgusting no matter how much you rinse, or how much you boil. I’ve tried them on multiple occasions because of all the rave reviews, thinking maybe last time was just a bad experience, and I’ve literally spit them out at the first bite every time. Now I’ve stopped trying – it isn’t me, they’re just gross.

I mix these with Dixie Diners Lo-Carb pasta ( prepared in same microwave pasta maker ) — and I think, when covered with good low carb dressing taste pretty good. And only 40 calories! I am very happy with product, but probably would not enjoy as muchif not mixed with Dixie or other pasta.

After reading other comments here I have to say that first, any Tofu product must be rinsed thoroughly. Second since Tofu has a neutral flavor, it takes on the flavor of what ever you cook with it. So try cooking it with something flavorful. Try sautéing mushrooms with peppers and onions then add the rinsed and drained noodles. Stirfry this mixture briefly and plate. Delicious !! or maybe add your favorite Marinara Sauce

I just ordered these a few weeks ago. Thankfully, I followed the advice about rinsing very well (suggest under very hot or even, boiling water for several minutes). Then, boil them for several minutes in a large pot (to rid them of that nasty aftertaste). I ate them with spaghetti sauce and it was okay, good but not great.
Lynn –
I just made Fettuccine Alfredo with these noodles (per a Hungry Girl recipe), added steamed broccoli and thought they were fabulous. I rinsed them well, patted them dry and cooked them in the microwave for only one minute. After adding Laughing Cow Cheese, non-fat sour cream and a few tbl of grated parmesan, I microwaved them one more minute. They were a great consistency and the dish was delicious. So glad I discovered these noodles.
Jeri –
I love these! Can’t be overcooked and great for slow cookers cuz they keep their shape! Just cut them up with kitchen shears! So good in soups for winter!
Nancy –
This product is AWESOME! I read about it in a magazine aned saw them st the store. I bought 2 packages, not expecting much. Was I ever surprised. Now I’m ordering 20 pkgs. Can’t wait for them to arrive. Nancy Bacon
Jesse –
Great taste for tofu. shared with my co-worker and he likes them too.
Carlene –
I just used this for the first time and really appreciate the advice received from other reviewers. I rinsed this for several minutes with hot and boilng water, then used it with my homemade pasta sauce. It was quite good and took on the flavor of the sauce. It won’t give you the al dente texture of regular pasta, but does have the comfort mouth feel of pasta that’s overcooked. Overall it was very good.
Judy –
Love these! While it is true they don’t taste exactly like pasta, they’re the closest I’ve found and can be used in so many ways. Definitely a mainstay of my diet!
