I absolutely love this bread. It does not taste like cardboard! And I especially love that it’s only 1 carb per slice. I use to miss my turkey sandwiches at holiday time not anymore. If you want to try something outstanding take a slice of this slather mayo on it and pile it high with leftover turkey. I know it sounds strange on raisin bread but it will be the best thing you’v ever eaten. I promise. Also great for making your stuffing with!!!!

I didn’t like the texture of this bread, it’s very spongy.

I just tried this bread, and it is absolutely delicious. I toast it and put a little butter and cinnamon/sugar substitute mix on top, which makes it so delicious. This bread is softer than Carb Krunchers (which I also like toasted) and it makes a nice change. It has more of the texture of a regular store bought softer bread, but not mushy at all. I highly recommend this product!

Not the biggest fan. Reminds me a lot of Julian Bakery’s Smart Carb bread after they “improved” it by replacing some of the fiber that brought the net carb count down with some other substance that made the bread fluffy – and made it taste like you’re eating a sponge. In Chompies’ defense, while this bread has the same unpleasant sponginess, it at least had decent flavor. Toasted with a smear of cream cheese, it isn’t bad.

I like to toast this and add a little veggie butter spread, extra cinnamon and a packet of stevia to give myself a little treat. Yes, it is a bit spongy, but the taste is very good. Dieting is a perception and a mind change about food as well as adopting new habits, so when I eat this bread and think about the texture, I remind myself to shut off my old mindset of what bread is “supposed” to taste like. Highly recommend!

All I can say is, these other 5 reviews have to be totally prompted or fake. I’ve been a low-carb eater for decades, and have had my share of breads that I do eat (and enjoy) just because I know they are better for me. This Cinnamon Raisin Bread, of which I ordered 2 loaves before trying it, is absolutely inedible. It tastes exactly like a dry sponge. I managed to choke down 2 slices as a sandwich with sliced turkey one day, and the next day I absolutely could not get it down my throat, instead having to remove the sandwich insides and throw the bread out to the squirrels. Then I had to tear up the rest of the two loaves to throw out in the yard as well. This is the only inedible low-carb product I have ever ordered or tried. If it didn’t cost more to ship back than it did to purchase and already ship here, I would go through the process for a full refund. Blech.

I have ordered this bread several times now. I have been on low carb diets and not having bread was tough. I love this bread for cinnamon toast !! I’m bummed when I run out !! I love the thick slices also, and unlike some other posting, I have no problem with texture etc.
I’m thrilled to have found
Lo Carb-u and I have placed several orders. I give this bread 5 stars, but because of the high shipping cost they charge, I took a star away. Now people will know that I am not an employee or some poser.
