It costs a little more than regular mixs but it makes delicious pancakes and the health benefits and weight control makes it a good buy.
With the sugar free, zero carb honey it is a great treat at the holidays!
I’ve made waffles and pizza with this stuff so far, and I am in love with it. I can’t wait to try more recipes! The box itself has some great ideas on it and the 5lb. bag is a great deal!
I made pancakes and they tasted awesome. I ate them with some Nature’s Hollow maple syrup! Yum!!!!! It was like being full-carb again!
The batter was too thick at first so I added some water. Then the pancakes were a little loose on the griddle, hard to flip. But it all worked out okay.
This is like a saving grace! Try the recipes on the back. The pizza and pancakes are unbelievable!!!
I measured my blood sugar two hours after eating biscuits and pancakes made with this stuff on several occasions, and I was well within normal range (110-120). It ain’t Bisquick, but it ain’t bad….
thank you 111 from pizza crust to pancakes. Yeah. Well worth the price
This stuff is ok, but has kind of a funky taste to it. I made brownies and they turned nasty. But I made pancakes and they turned out pretty good. I made the cheese biskits and those wern’t very good, but the butermilk bisquits where alright. There are about 150 recpies for this stuff on there website. I bought five pounds of the stuff so I am going to continue to play around with it. It really is a hit and miss with this stuff………
I love this stuff. This was the first time I’ve had pancakes in 3 months. My husband could not tell the difference.
This stuff is wonderful. It really does taste just like flour. The texture is a little different, but doesn’t make too much of a difference. I made some pancakes with it; they tasted execellent but torn apart easier than normal pancakes (this can be avoid if you’re extra careful when flipping them). I’m eager to see how the stuff bakes. I’m going to make a cake with it when the new shipment arrives. Different texture or not, you just can’t beat the carb count. It’s so nice to eat bread products again!
I bought this to make the zucchini nut bread in the Atkins Book, (if you make it use only 1/2 cup of oil and 1/2 tsp salt). I bought the 5 pound package hoping it was good. I had always used the Atkins mix but could no longer get it, this is as good or better. My husband and I are both very excited about it, the bread is what keeps us on low carb.
I love Carbquick, it is tha shittttt!!! it’s tha best. I can make pepperoni pizza, coconut cake, anything I want. Iam so hooked, thank God I can eat great and still lose weight!!!!!!!!!
I love this stuff! I make waffles, pancakes, muffins and am looking for new stuff to make with it. Its great for lo-carbers who want that selection of baked treats. There are great recipes on the Carbquik website as well. WORTH IT!
Lots of great recipes right on the box. I am most partical to the cheesy busicuts. I freeze them and eat them for breakfast one day at a time. Great for a sausage and egg sandwich in the morning. There are many additional receipess on line as well.
BEST FRIED CHICKEN!!! Put a little carbquick in a ziplock with salt and pepper, coat your chicken and fry in olive oil. A delight!
Not like carb-loaded breads, but sure beats gong without bread totally. I just ordered my next box.
You can make garlic cheese biscuits just like the ones at Red Lobster
